Saharanpur: There is disturbing news for the people of the district. 400 K across the district on 31 October, 2 and 4 November 2020. V. Power Substation, all 220kv lines in the district maintained by PGCIL will be lighted. However, to avoid this problem, efforts are being made to get electricity from the neighboring state of Uttarakhand.

 

Why electricity will disappear for 3 days

According to District Magistrate Saharanpur Akhilesh Singh, after approval of NRLDC shutdown, all 220kv lines of 400 KV power sub-station PGCIL like KV Substation Saharanpur, Sarsawa, Behat and 132 KV Substation of Gagalhedi, Chhutmalpur, Ambala Road I & II, Koda and Nakud area. Supply will be interrupted.

 

According to Akhilesh Singh, Batti Gul District Collector

 

On October 31, 2020 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

On November 2 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and

Power supply will be interrupted from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on November 4, 2020.

 

Administration is trying to save from the problem

 

District Magistrate Akhilesh Singh said that Uttar Pradesh Transmission Corporation Limited is trying to take power from Uttarakhand state through hundred and one hundred fifty mega watts of power from 220kv Saharanpur-Khodri and 220kv Sarsawa Khodri transmission lines for power supply on all three dates. So that electricity supply can be made in the essential services of urban areas and districts.

 

The District Magistrate appealed to the public

District Magistrate Akhilesh Singh has called upon the people to cooperate with the power supply. He appealed to the public to be patient and cooperate with the electricity department.
